HALLOWEEN
HALLOWEEN
HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION
Halloween is celebrated on 31 October. It was originally the Celtic festival of the dead. The Christian church renamed it All Hallows Eve ( hence the name Halloween).
Pumpkin lanterns , masks and costumes are all part of Halloween , as is the custom of << trick or treat>>.
This involves children in costumes going from house to house asking for treats such as sweets , fruit and money. If the householder refuses to give them a treat , the children may then play a trick or practical joke on them.
